Gospel principles are based on what Jesus said, did, and commanded us to do. They are the cornerstone of Catholic social teaching, and at St. Edmund's, they guide how we interact with one another. When I demonstrate UNITY, KINDNESS, COMPASSION, and SERVICE BY, I AM FOLLOWING JESUS' EXAMPLE OF LOVE. seeing the needs of others and generously acting to change things. When I exhibit PERSEVERANCE, HOPE, COMMITMENT, and EXCELLENCE, I am emulating Jesus' example of LOVE. Living and acting from a place of faith and having faith that everything will work out for the best. studying with hope, giving my studies my undivided attention, and finishing what I start. Having goals and striving to achieve them even when it is difficult. I am following Jesus' example of LOVE when I show ENTHUSIASM, HOPE, PASSION CREATIVITY, and DETERMINATION by. utilising my unique, God-given skills and abilities to their fullest extent. When I practise LOVE by exhibiting RESPECT, FORGIVENESS, HONESTY, and JUSTICE, I am following Jesus' example of LOVE. Students who exhibit our ideals in both their words and deeds will receive house points. The rewarding of house points will highlight the importance of each individual's behaviour and the impact they have within their house team. This will encourage the importance of unity.
