From the Pudsey Grangefield School
the school's most notable alteration in its history. The school was given the go-ahead to be one of the final schools to be built under the government's BSF scheme after receiving support from the governor, headteacher, and local councillor (Building Schools for the Future). Having a slight change of address from Richardshaw Lane to Mount Pleasant Road, due to the main part of the school built on the old playing fields, September 2008 saw the award winning building welcome its students into the new 'state of the art' learning environment.
