From the Benton Park School
It is a pleasure to have you here at Benton Park School.
Our school is a joyful, successful place where our students are at the centre of everything we do.
Our young people are held to extremely high standards and expectations, and in return we provide a nurturing, encouraging, and challenging atmosphere in which they can flourish and advance their learning both inside and outside of the classroom.
Our five core values—resilience, collaboration, inspiration, compassion, and endeavor—serve as the foundation for everything we do.
To ensure that our students feel secure, appreciated, and content, we have a strong culture of pastoral support and guidance.
I consider myself fortunate to be the head of a school with such intelligent, kind, and compassionate students who have the full support of a capable and dedicated staff team.

Benton was an OK school when my eldest started in Year 7. During that year, there was an exodus of many of the best teachers and it very quickly spiralled downhill. Main issue that both my kids complain about is the level of disruptive behaviour: it has got completely out of control, and the disciplinary methods to tackle it seem to be ineffective. Most lessons suffer from pupils messing about, which means others can't concentrate...
Mental health issues aren't dealt with atall no matter what they tell you. Pupils treated poorly by peers aswell as adults
