The six classes at Nascot Wood Infant School, which first opened its doors in 1976, each hold 180 students (two in each of Reception, Year 1 and Year 2). The setting is pleasant and well-equipped, and the classrooms are big. This offers spacious rooms for group activities as well as quiet spaces for focused work. We also enjoy a delightful setting with access to a nature reserve, sports field, and a heated outdoor swimming pool, all of which we share with Nascot Wood Junior School. Our nursery unit, which has been operating since April 1997, can house 60 kids鈥�30 in each of the two daily sessions. A team of committed teachers and other staff members work hard and are friendly at Nascot Wood Infant and Nursery School. Our aim is to create a safe and joyful atmosphere where all of our kids can receive a well-rounded education. We recognise that every child is different and uniquely special, and yet also part of a communityso while nurturing the individual talents and interests of each child, we also support their ability to develop friendships, positive attitudes and self-discipline, regardless of race, gender or religion. Our aim is to raise confident, inquisitive kids who enjoy and benefit from their educational experiences. We hold everyone to a high standard and provide them individually monitored goals that we believe will most effectively balance challenge and reward.
