Welcome to Broad Oak! Thank you for your interest in our school. I'm the head instructor, and my name is Kevin Corteen. I started attending the school in September 2012, and I am incredibly pleased of what our school community has accomplished. Our goal to offering interesting and unique learning experiences that encourage a love of learning and enable our students to realise their greatest potential is summarised in our motto, "Exciting Minds." There are more than 500 kids enrolled in our school, including 50 in the nursery. With families coming to us from nations like Pakistan, Portugal, Brazil, and Egypt, we are really fortunate to have kids from a variety of cultural backgrounds. Some of our kids initially don't speak much English, but after a few weeks, their confidence and linguistic skills improve. We enjoy discovering more about one another's cultures and traditions. Children, parents, governors, and staff have several chances to play a significant role in the development of our school community. We firmly believe that a child's education is a joint effort between the home and the school. We will make an effort to involve families and invite you to share your child's educational journey since we firmly think that children learn best when home and school collaborate for their mutual benefit. Children arrive at school with a plethora of information and insight about the outside world. Our goal is to strengthen these abilities and encourage a desire and enthusiasm for learning new things.
