Every child at Yorke Mead is appreciated, and all of our kids are taken care of and motivated to succeed. We are proud of everyone's accomplishments in school and the larger community. As a teacher and head teacher, I have always placed a high priority on helping children in the elementary school years develop their drive, confidence, and autonomous learning skills. These are the things that will provide kids the best chance for academic, interpersonal, and social success in life. At Yorke Mead, we also lay a strong emphasis on ensuring that our kids grow up to be healthy people. We place a great priority on helping children establish behaviours that allow them to grow and maintain physical and mental health. We place a strong emphasis on the holistic development of the child in all of our work. Our school's motto is bringing learning to life. We think it's crucial to prioritise attaining high standards in literacy and numeracy while also making sure the kids are exposed to a broad, varied, and rich curriculum. The students at Yorke Mead are eager to study. Children enjoy learning when activities are interesting, challenging, and exciting.
