We are an 11 to 16 mixed comprehensive school in Walthamstow that is content, prosperous, and incredibly well-liked.
The current situation at Willowfield is exciting.
In September 2015, we moved into our magnificent new buildings, and since then, we have continued to grow.
In 2017 we achieved our best-ever GCSE scores, and in 2018 we surpassed them once more.
We take great pride in being a neighbourhood school that gives each of our students the greatest start in life.
Students at Willowfield are content, successful learners who advance quickly.
The curriculum in Years 7, 8, and 9 is designed to push and challenge everyone to be their best selves, preparing them for the difficulties that lie ahead in Years 10 and 11.
Our excellent pastoral system serves as the foundation for our school's success and happiness.
Mutual respect and an atmosphere where faculty, staff, and students have joyful, peaceful, and extremely good connections define life at Willowfield.
Our kids live up to our high standards of decency and respect, and we expect nothing less from them.
All of our students have access to a wide selection of extracurricular options, which we have been able to expand and improve since we moved to the new location.
There are numerous and varied possibilities to participate in civic engagement activities, and our Arts Mark Award honours our dedication to the arts and the breadth and calibre of the opportunities provided here.
Students take part in a variety of activities, such as overnight vacations and tours to theatres, art galleries, and museums.
There are numerous possibilities to assume leadership roles, including those of sports captains, prefects, school journalists, librarians, and the extremely active Student Leadership Council, which actively influences the school's direction.
For our students to be happy and succeed, we think that a strong partnership with their parents and carers is essential.
We celebrate student success and ensure that parents/carers are kept up to date about their child's progress through termly reports and a parents evening.
Our vision is for Willowfield students to leave us and be able to compete with anyone, anywhere, professionally and personally, in the world that is their future.
Our year 11 students progress on successfully to college, work and University and we are always proud to hear from them and their successes after Willowfield.
