From the Whetley Academy
With space for up to 710 students, Whetley Academy is a larger-than-average school for kids between the ages of 3 and 11. Serving a diverse community made up of families from various racial and ethnic backgrounds makes us really pleased. Since 1875, the school has served as a platform for countless youngsters to take their first steps toward learning. We have taken advantage of the chance to enter a new and exciting stage of its development as a result of our conversion from a community to an academy school. Delta Academies Trust is our academy's sponsor (Delta). Support from the Delta is accelerating school improvement, as seen by the recent GOOD Ofsted rating in June 2018. All student groups' exam outcomes are getting better every year, and everyone's attendance is currently better than it is nationwide. Every year, the school building is updated and renovated. Our Academy is an illustration of how our lovely old facility can be refurbished to provide a top-notch setting for kids who like attending school. In conclusion, Whetley Academy welcomes your child and the entire family. We are really proud of our school.
