As a parent, I understand that you will have a variety of concerns, hopes, and thoughts as your child begins school.
We acknowledge that your child's education has to be a shared duty between home and school, built on trust and understanding.
To that end, we strive to keep you fully informed about all facets of school life, and I sincerely hope you will take advantage of our "open door" policy to express any issues, praises, or questions you may have.
Our recent Church school inspection gave the school "outstanding" ratings in every category, recognising our dedication to Christian education, Worship, and values, which is reflected in the students' comments about feeling safe, secure, and unique in God's love. As a Church school, we are distinguished by our provision of quality education within a caring Christian environment.
Our 'warm, accepting, and supportive culture' apparently offers the ideal environment for students to thrive.
By the end of year 6, students had consistently achieved outstanding results in academic subjects, which led to our high academic standards being recognised by OFSTED.
Excellent sports, music, and performance arts programmes are offered to students in addition to their academic success. These programmes are delivered by specialised staff, frequently to classes of 15 students, and result in all students learning to play multiple musical instruments and over 80% receiving additional music instruction.
I sincerely appreciate your interest in our school and look forward to beginning our seven-year educational adventure together should you decide to send your kid to Idle CE (A) Primary School.
