As a visitor to our school website, let me take this chance to welcome you and introduce myself as the headteacher of Walker Primary School.
Many of your queries regarding our policies and test results are addressed in our "About Us" section.
Your visit to the class pages will offer you a taste of the imaginative and creative work being done in each class, as well as our amazing assemblies and field trips to interesting locations that further our education.
Additionally, we want kids to grow up with a solid sense of morals, therefore we use the UNICEF Children's Charter to encourage a rights-respecting school ethos in all that we do.
We have high standards for all part of school life, including dress code and behaviour for learning, and we are steadfast in our commitment to having kids assume leadership roles across the board.
As the school strives to become Outstanding, the governors, myself, and the staff continue to focus on the areas listed below as critical goals.
maintain high standards and aspirations to allow all kids to advance at a decent or better rate in reading, writing, math, science, and ICT.
to make sure that school leadership in all areas is excellent and demonstrates a distinct vision and feeling of purpose for the school.
To better the outcomes for underprivileged groups, students with SEND, and all students' personal growth, behaviour, and welfare while adhering to safeguarding requirements.
Providing children with access to visuals and objects to promote their learning as well as enabling continual assessment of student learning in the classroom can help to advance teaching and learning in classrooms where it is appropriate.
