Learning at Turton School is all about acquiring information and skills appropriate for the twenty-first century. We want students to graduate from Turton with the self-assurance, aptitude, and skills they need for both life and the workforce. Turton's educational programmes assist young people in developing and maintaining their own emotional, bodily, and mental well-being as well as understanding how to be joyful. Young people carry with them the expectation to do more than just sit and listen, but also to take part, engage in conversation, and shape things. As a result, our ethos is fundamental, intrinsic, and special. The "Turton Touchstones" we feel best capture the school's ethos, which we have carefully created to support everything we do. The Touchstones stand for a method of operation that guarantees we give our children the best educational opportunities in the simultaneous academic and social/emotional curriculum. We want to make sure that students acquire strong moral character, future-ready skills, and the knowledge and skills necessary to earn applicable credentials through the Touchstones.
