From the Turnfurlong Junior School
to create a fun, joyful, and secure environment where all kids are motivated to succeed and develop into self-assured, self-reliant, and reflective lifelong learners. At Turnfurlong Junior School, we recognise the value of education in guiding and preparing kids for their futures. Our goal is to lay solid foundations for a child's future development. Six core values that are connected to our school's mission statement were chosen by the school council after consultation with students, staff, and parents. These principles guide how our kids act both inside and outside of the classroom. Respect, self-belief, creativity, resilience, motivation, and ambition are among our core principles. Our curriculum incorporates these principles, and they are also honoured and covered in assemblies and other areas of the curriculum. When students exhibit certain virtues, they are recognised with "value leaves," which are then displayed on our school's Value Tree.
