Thanks for visiting Thorns Community Infant School. We offer an arm of welcome to you because we are a joyful, friendly school.
Thorns' whole faculty, board of governors, and students are extremely proud of their institution.
180 youngsters between the ages of four and seven attend the Thorns Community Infant School.
The school is located in contemporary structures with large learning and play areas for the kids, including a swimming pool, library, and willow garden.
Our goal is to give our kids the chances they need to develop active, inquisitive minds and the knowledge and fundamental skills they will require in the future.
This website enables us to recognise and share the accomplishments of our kids while also sharing details about our school's daily operations.
There should be something here for everyone, whether they are students, parents, or community members that are interested in our school.
We give a lot of weight to developing important skills, living a healthy lifestyle, creating friends, and gaining self-confidence and self-respect.
Thorns received a "good" rating from Ofsted in their most recent inspection, which took place in February 2017.
Park Hill Junior School is our partner institution, and the two of us together make up the Park Hill Thorns Federation, which has a single governing board and executive head teacher overseeing both institutions.
