From the Sundridge Primary School
The Local Education Authority is responsible for maintaining Sundridge, a Primary school with a one-form entrance. Since the early 1940s, the school has provided education to the nearby communities of Kingstanding and Great Barr. The school was rebuilt in 1995, and we moved into our newly constructed, fully equipped school in 1996. The school has its own sports field and a lovely play area, and it is located in peaceful, private surroundings. Each academic year is represented by one of our seven classes. Thirty students are allowed per class. At the start of the school year in which they turn five, children are admitted into our Reception class through Birmingham Local Authority Admissions. At the age of eleven, students move from Sundridge to their secondary school. Please call the school at 0121 464 7720 if you want to join Sundridge "in-year." Please call Birmingham Admissions and Appeals at 0121 303 1888 for information on Reception 2019. Every child should experience happiness and achievement while attending our school, and we are dedicated to partnering with parents to make this happen. If the school must be closed, you will be notified via Groupcall. Additionally, Radio WM, Heart FM, and Free Radio Birmingham will be informed. The School Prospectus contains further important information about our school.
