From the Strood Academy
We're glad you're here. After our predecessor schools closed in 2009, Strood Academy was founded and was initially funded by the University for the Creative Arts. Sponsored Academies were established in order to increase academic performance and aspirations by combining the sponsors' knowledge with that of seasoned and effective school administrators. Our academy has changed the educational options and results for both boys and girls in Strood since it opened. The hard work of our kids, a skilled and dedicated team, and support from parents and the community have all contributed to the progress in academic performance. On January 1st, 2017, we formally joined Leigh Academies Trust, one of the top seven performing Trusts in the nation according to Sir Michael Wilshaw, Chief Inspector of Schools. We are eager to collaborate with them to help our kids advance more quickly. Our new Carnation Road structures cost 26 million to construct and were created in collaboration with Nicholas Hare as our main contractor. Were feature amazing learning settings, outdoor play areas, and sports facilities, and they launched in September 2012. The structures are a reflection of our educational vision, which is to develop an advanced and functional learning environment where kids of all abilities can grow and learn. Kim Gunn, the academy's principal, was hired after a highly successful tenure in charge and exceptional Ofsted ratings at another Medway School. She has put together a capable leadership team that has collaborated closely with our knowledgeable governing board to achieve the notable progress that is shown in our most recent Ofsted report. Our website is updated every day to reflect the variety of programmes and opportunities available at our institution. During the working day, we encourage guests and potential parents to see the academy.

I am on a train to Bromley South and a party of older pupils are on the train to The Houses of Parliament. They are so well behaved. Lovely young people
lack of proper teaching and teachers who don't care to listen to what you say or handle bullying, they is also a lack of good staff and safety among individuals
I used to think this school was ok but they blame, pick on and wage a full war on you when another student bashes your childs head in to make you understand where that kids head was just like my kids primary did when me and my kids have already suffered more in life than the child that perpetrated it and allow all the other parents with more money, nicer postcodes who lie and continually...
