On the outskirts of Kirkby Lonsdale, our school is perfectly situated. Our school has a long history of giving our students a great education, and Kirkby Lonsdale is a well-known and historic market town. We make every effort to use this superb resource because the local environment and the great outdoors are a fantastic extension of our classrooms. We make the most of the Lune Valley and Lake District to give every one of our kids an imaginative and motivating education. Each student at our school should enjoy themselves and learn new things while being challenged and motivated. We think our curriculum is imaginative and aspirational, inspiring our kids to think creatively. As well as accepting responsibility and tenacity in the face of difficulty, kindness, honesty, and respect are fundamental themes in everything we do. My mind is frequently blown by our kids' kindness and concern for others. Importantly, we hold students to high academic standards and strive to cultivate a lifelong love of learning. We have a solid sporting record for honouring excellence and making sure that all kids participate. Our curriculum has a big emphasis on outdoor learning while also placing a lot of attention on STEM and the arts. I'm hoping that your child will have a very happy, balanced, and enriching start to their education at our school. If you decide to come see us, I'm confident you'll notice the friendly atmosphere we value on a daily basis.
