I was thrilled to be named executive headteacher at St. Alphege in September 2016.
Both St. Alphege CE Infant School and Herne CE Infant School employ me as their executive headteacher.
I consider myself extremely lucky that each school has a capable Head of School who oversees operations on a daily basis.
I received my training as an Early Years Specialist and have experience teaching the infant age group in numerous schools around the nation.
Children's lives are profoundly impacted by the arts and curriculum enrichment, and as educators and parents, it is our responsibility to make the best possible arrangements for our kids.
My passion and the focus of the majority of my professional life are early years and infant education.
Another one of my interests is music and the arts, and I feel immensely honoured to have helped the school earn Arts Mark Gold designation in July 2014.
Children are given the skills for living life reflectively, joyfully, and with the power to affect the future by participating in music, drama, and art possibilities.
I began my career at St. Alphege as an inclusion leader and deputy headteacher, and I have since supported students with Special Educational Needs for a considerable amount of time.
I am strongly devoted to assisting all students regardless of their backgrounds or starting points, fostering a school atmosphere where well-being is a top priority.
Being the Head of School at St. Alphege CE Infant School and Sunbeams Nursery makes me feel immensely proud of my school.
Our location in the heart of thriving Whitstable makes it possible to forge strong community ties and take advantage of engaging learning opportunities away from the classroom.
The staff is dedicated and shares my enthusiasm for giving the kids in our care the finest care possible.
I'm excited to work with your kids to help them live up to our school's slogan of "Learning to Live and Loving to Learn" in a setting where the kids will always come first.
