Welcome to our wonderful, exciting new website as well as to Springvale Primary School.
I am the headteacher of our excellent learning community, Mr. Lee McClure.
We all go to this school with the idea that we should "play together, study together, and accomplish together." It is a school to be proud of.
Children have a variety of strengths and talents, and our extracurricular programme is unmatched!
We provide students with a safe, secure, and stimulating environment every single day in our school building, which was constructed just ten years ago (in 2007) as part of the Barnsley Modern Schools programme (PFI building).
My main values as a headteacher are justice, consistency, respect, and trust.
Our school places a strong emphasis on collaboration, which is why we emphasise the word "together" in our ethos.
We believe in collaborating as teachers, students, parents, and governors to share, push, and encourage one another to be the best that we can be.
We have high standards for our kids as well.
Many of our kids, in our opinion, are prepared to take charge, so we encourage them to participate actively in school administration by serving as Play Leaders, lunchtime monitors, and chaperones for Parents' Evenings.
Please visit our new website and take a look at the fantastic work that is being done at Springvale; everyone is welcome. I sincerely hope that you like it.
