From the Southmoor Academy
Greetings from Southmoor Academy. We are a sizable, prosperous 11–18 academy with a strong sense of belonging, aspiration, and accomplishment. Our motto, "Aspire, Achieve, Enjoy," reflects this. One of the non-religious schools in the city with the best performance is Southmoor, which serves as the multi-academy trust's principal sponsor. Southmoor's pursuit of academic success goes well beyond that. It's a school that encourages personal growth by giving its students the chance to discover and nurture their unique interests and abilities. As part of our extracurricular commitment, this may take the form of sports, the creative arts, after-school or lunchtime clubs, peer support, personal development, or a variety of frequent educational visits. Of course, none of this would be possible without the dedicated support of parents and governors and our excellent staff. I hope you'll find our website to be a helpful informational resource. Consider subscribing to my weekly blog if you want updates on a regular basis.
