From the Snitterfield Primary School
The centre of Snitterfield, a Warwickshire semi-rural community close to Stratford-upon-Avon, is the Snitterfield Primary School.
Together with Wilmcote CE Primary School and Loxley CE Community Primary School, we make up one of the three schools that make up the Stratford Rural Schools Federation.
With 95 students enrolled, the school now has the most students overall out of the three schools in the Federation.
There are four mixed-year group courses for the children.
The staff at Snitterfield puts a lot of effort into offering the highest calibre instruction and learning experiences in a warm and welcoming environment.
Children have access to a rich, comprehensive curriculum that is regularly evaluated to ensure that the connections between subjects are properly utilised.
Snitterfield, unlike its Federation counterparts, is not a church school but yet has strong ties to St James the Great, the local church.
The school is proud of its track record of instilling values in students, and classes include instruction on other religions and customs in addition to those that are practised there.
Despite improvements over the years, the school building still has many traditional features. These improvements include three additional classrooms, a library, a computer lab that is used by all students, significantly better resources for our Foundation and Key Stage 1 students, and a dining room/resource area. (A well-designed Forest School area is present at the back of the school and is utilised to the fullest extent possible.
