TJ is a two-form entrance school that serves a diverse and active neighbourhood. In all we do, we try to keep the needs of the families we assist at the forefront. Our school's motto is "To be the best that we can be," and we actively promote family involvement in school life because we recognise the vital contribution that families make to achieving this goal. I am happy to be the head of a school community that is dedicated to providing every child and family with the greatest possible care. We accomplish this by encouraging each child to perform his or her best work through respect and understanding. I firmly believe that this accounts for why our kids do so well academically and develop so well. We are aware of the importance of education as a foundation for children's futures, but we are also aware of the importance of the present moment. Since the joy of learning together is so important, we hope that every child will find school to be an interesting, exciting, and joyful experience every day. Naturally, that is an ongoing effort, which is why our school's motto is so significant. I sincerely hope you will enjoy browsing through these pages, where we strive to give you a taste of life at our school and highlight some of our many interesting endeavours and successes.
