We are a strong, welcoming community that gives our young people many opportunity to grow as leaders and engage in our extended curriculum in the arts, humanities, and science, which is founded on research.
This is in line with our concept that learning in the Sixth Form should prepare you for life beyond the traditional exam-focused curriculum and give you the skills and confidence to challenge conventional wisdom.
The History of Ideas programme, which introduces you to a variety of intellectual ideas, and the Extended Project Qualification, which is finished at the conclusion of Year 12, enrich these two aspects of the curriculum.
With the Tong Research Center set to open in late 2017, our commitment to giving our youth the opportunities to participate in intellectual discourse and think creatively will be strengthened.
We have a good academic track record and, as a lively and intellectually stimulating atmosphere, the majority of our students will gain offers from their top universities, including Russell Group universities like Oxford, Cambridge, Durham, UCL, and Imperial College.
We also have a track record of assisting those of you who would choose to look for job after completing your A level coursework.
The Sixth Form Team, which consists of the Head of Sixth Form, two Deputies, a Wellbeing Mentor, a Learning Mentor, the Director of Studies, and a UCAS consultant, will support you in achieving this goal. You will also receive support from a personal form tutor who you will meet twice a day.
We are providing you with a sixth form education that is truly of the highest calibre, allowing you to make your own dreams and aspirations a reality while having the best two years of your life thus far.

Although, the SMT is a bit stricter, but otherwise no complaints. Dinner ladies are superb, and a shoutout to Gwen, for always joining in on banter. Around the school, facilities, are excellent, but would like my own physical textbook, not online ones. Sport is excellent, and UP THE MIGHTY LANGTON Y10...
This school is exceptional, the teaching alongside the community here is charming and warming. They instil core principles and excellent behaviour, alongside gaining a first-rate education with all the support that could ever be required to push your abilities and dreams.
This is not a family school it claims to be, this is a school for exhausting competition, between students , celebrating a certain male toxic culture that thrives in football pitches, loudness, and top academic scores like 8,9. There is an arrogance led by the top, a feeling that you鈥檝e entered the bees knees and most boys have ben shaped to view the female as a prop. Not in the music or art department which...
