2019 marked the year that Roding Valley High School obtained its best GCSE scores ever.
I am overjoyed with the advances the school has seen, and these outcomes are a credit to the utmost dedication and diligence of all faculty and students.

At Grade 9, an astounding 5% of all grades were given out, which is more than twice the national average.
72 Grade 9s were given out (equal to an A**). fifteen biology, eleven chemistry, six physics, seven english and six english literature, and eight math.

Igor Dasuzhau, our best A Level performer in 2019, earned two A*s in Biology and Chemistry and three similar to extended project qualification, physics, and math.
He was offered a coveted spot at the University of Cambridge, where he will attend Girton College to study natural sciences.
He follows in the footsteps of our very first year 13 cohort and former Head Girl Olivia Tinker, who studied history in 2017 at the University of Cambridge.
Additionally, several of our top students have landed apprenticeships at prestigious companies including KPMG, Schroders, Hill, and Aon.
Both in Year 7 and Year 12, we use student leadership to assist our highly successful transition programme.
We are proud of the extensive choice of extracurricular organisations and activities that students have access to, in addition to their academic accomplishment.
Along with the excellent Duke of Edinburgh award programme that we administer, our students can participate in a variety of field trips and visits to gain knowledge and experience outside of the classroom.
Our comprehensive and engaging Challenge and Enrichment Program offers access to the student publication Exposed, debate competitions, lengthy projects, university trips, and academic seminars.
There are many achievements that Roding Valley High School can be proud of.
We defeated 1,000 schools countrywide to win the title of 2019 National Debating Champions.
