From the Malden Parochial CofE Primary School
Within the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, Malden Parochial Church of England Primary School is a well-liked and effective one-form entry school (now with two forms in Year 5 and Year 6 for students aged 3 to 11). One of the Church Schools in the Diocese of Southwark, it has strong ties to St. John's, our neighbourhood church. Malden Parochial's earliest records go back to 1835, when students were first taught in a cottage on Church Road. With 47 kids registered, a Victorian structure opened its doors in 1864. Since then, this has been destroyed, and the location is now home to our nursery. All of the students currently enrolled in the school now have access to a large, well-equipped, and welcoming atmosphere thanks to the additions made to the building over the years. Excellent instruction and a large range of extracurricular and off-campus activities provide our students with strong learning support. We are extremely proud of our academic successes as well as the unique contributions that each of our students makes to our school.
