The Langley Mill Church of England Infant School and Nursery would like to welcome you.
Miss K. Scrivens is my name, and I'm honoured to lead this amazing institution.
Since September 2007, I've served as the school's headteacher.
The institution was once a girls' school when it was constructed in 1897.
It is located in the historic coal mining district of Langley Mill.
Most of our kids start out here and then transition to Langley Mill Academy for junior high school before finishing their secondary studies at Aldercar High School.
Excellent facilities are available here.
We have a sizable field area that has been developed, a playground with hard surfaces, separate outdoor learning areas for our young learners, a wildlife area with bird watching huts, animal homes, a storytelling area, and a pond area, as well as outdoor classrooms, role play areas, and adventure trails.
Our current class sizes include a 52-seat nursery, a pure reception class, a mixed year 1-year 2 class, and a pure year 2 class.
Our school takes pride in emphasising both academic growth and the spiritual, moral, social, cultural, and behavioural development of all of the children in our care. Children of all backgrounds and abilities make excellent progress there.
We like practising and expanding our knowledge and abilities outside of the classroom, so we provide a variety of extracurricular activities, including before school, during lunch, and after school programmes.
Before they enrol in our nursery or school, during their transition here, and once they go on to the juniors, we provide exceptional support to kids and families.
They are devoted to giving our kids the greatest learning opportunities possible and have a great deal of experience and professionalism.
At our school, we enjoy a comprehensive, well-rounded, and creative curriculum while learning and having fun together.
