The level of care given to each student throughout the school day will encourage their independence and self-worth. It will be possible to provide learning experiences that are appropriate for each child, building on their current understanding in order to advance and broaden their skills and knowledge, thanks to careful curriculum development and regular assessments of student progress. A smooth transition between Key Stages will guarantee advancement and consistency of the curriculum from the Foundation Stage to Key Stage 2. To effectively address identified needs, teaching and support staff will be dispersed throughout the school. This will ensure that curriculum provision and the use of resources supports the school's stance on issues of equal opportunity in terms of race, gender and special educational need and ensuring tolerance and respect of different faiths which contributes to the personal development of all pupils.
