Thank you for visiting The Hurst Community College. We are a prosperous, high-achieving community school that is fortunate to have beautiful grounds in the countryside and top-notch amenities. We make sure that learning is personalised and class sizes are limited at our well-liked, medium-sized school. As demonstrated by our school's fundamental values—aspiration, dedication, excellence, and respect—we are incredibly ambitious and entirely committed to making sure every student thrives in their endeavours. At The Hurst, we help students become self-assured learners who are prepared for lifelong learning as well as outstanding exam results in the short term. Our highly qualified staff members conduct enjoyable, dynamic, and motivating lessons that encourage students to attain their full potential. Students are safe and content, treated with respect, behaved well, and are constantly urged to "reach high." Strong bonds exist, and we take pride in getting to know each of our students on a personal level to help them succeed academically. From our numerous House charity fundraising events to our long-standing Community Day, we are committed to developing pupils with a strong sense of responsibility towards their school, local and global communities. Every student is a part of a small, mixed-age tutor group, in keeping with our dedication to a community ethos. As a result, pastoral care may be highly customised, and excellent support networks can be created between year groups.
