Our main goal is "Achievement for All," and we take pride in our track record of academic excellence. We are successful because we hold all of our kids to high standards and because we foster a respectful learning atmosphere where people are valued and encouraged. Our institution is forward-thinking and employs cutting-edge teaching and learning strategies. We have made investments in modern technologies, so our students are prepared for a workplace in the twenty-first century and are able to creatively apply their knowledge and abilities. We take great pride in preparing our pupils to be inquisitive, resilient, and self-assured young adults throughout their lives. Importantly we want our students to leave with happy memories of their time at Haslingden High and we provide many enrichment opportunities outside of the classroom for students to develop the talents, teamwork and leadership skills that will enable them to be citizens of Britain and the world. We are a varied community where kids from various backgrounds build trusting and respectful relationships with one another and with staff. The teachers here were fantastic, education was second to none and absolutely brilliant, but bullying ran rampant and mostly unchecked.
