Regardless of a child's past or starting place, we aim to make sure they graduate from Year 6 with the academic abilities, social skills, and information required for success. There will be lots of time for kids to think, play, explore, and wonder throughout every class at our school. Each child will receive instruction in the manner that works best for them, and we will intervene without delay if necessary. For some youngsters, this may need one-on-one assistance if they are struggling, while for others, it may entail pushing them harder to maintain their interest. Although there will be a laid-back atmosphere at our school, students will still be aware that excellent behaviour is expected of them. They will frequently receive compliments and rewards for their efforts, kindness, diligence, and good manners. Every student will always have at least one friend because we always want the school to seem warm and inviting. Respect for one another and for their teachers will be instilled in our youngsters. Any form of bullying will be met with a zero tolerance policy.

Harris Primary Academy Shortlands Reviews

My child was bullied from reception. A child threatened to kick and punch her age 4. Got excluded from lunch table because she tried to protect a friend from bullying. Backfired big time. Teachers no help. A boy spat in her face. A boy said she was fat. Another boy said, you think you are better than us. Went from a lovely outgoing happy child to a nervous wreck. No help from head teacher. Home...
