This school has a Catholic ethos. The Catholic Church built the school to give Catholic families' children access to an education. The school is run by its governing board in accordance with its Trust Deed and Instrument of Government as a part of the Catholic Church, and it constantly endeavours to be a testimony to Jesus Christ. We are part of the Romero Partnership a network of schools that stems around the primary schools of Corpus Christi, Good Shepherd, Sacred Heart, SS Peter and Paul, St Gregory, St John Fisher, St Patrick and the Secondary partnered school of Cardinal Wiseman. We cooperate for the benefit of all. The goal of all of our schools is to be exceptional and to offer the best Catholic education possible to the children entrusted to our care from the age of three to nineteen. We exchange and develop ideas, pool resources, and gain access to the best in all of our schools by cooperating more intelligently. In El Salvador, Oscar Arnulfo Romero y Galdamez served as a bishop. He spoke on behalf of the underprivileged and conflict victims in El Salvador. He was assassinated in March 1980 while attending Mass after criticising the brutal military regime. He was born on August 15, 1917. In May 2015, Pope Francis declared him to be a saint.
