Flixton Primary School joined together to reflect on, remember, empathise with, learn about, and draw lessons from the history of World Wars 1 and 2 to commemorate such a significant moment in human history.
Each class took part in a memory exercise that was motivated by Danny Boyle's "Pages of the Sea."
Each youngster was given a plant with an Armistice-themed label made by Y2 as part of the significance of commemorating the Armistice.
Children will later be asked to return with their seedlings so that they can be planted to commemorate the Armistice.
We have established Flixton Primary School as a whole school to express our gratitude. Many thanks, Poppy.
We gave kids the chance to recreate a section of the Bayeux Tapestry in the style of Flixton Primary School in light of the announcement that it will be travelling to Britain!
