We are pleased to welcome you to Dovelands Primary School, a UNICEF Rights Respecting School. Our school is active and pleasant, with lots going on. This website seeks to introduce you to the institution while also regularly updating information for both parents and students. We sincerely hope you enjoy browsing our website and discover any information you're looking for. Any questions you may have can be directed to the school directly. Dovelands is situated in Leicester's Western Park neighbourhood, some 1.5 miles to the west of the city's centre. We are a "all-through" primary school that serves students from ages 3 to 11. One of the largest Primary schools in the city, we currently have 550 students enrolled, including those enrolled in our part-time Early Years Foundation Stage programmes. Dovelands is a well-known school that gains by having parents that care about their kids' education and want to collaborate with the school. Initiatives that ask for parental support consistently receive a positive response because parents freely donate their time and abilities. Despite the school's size, there is a strong sense of community both inside and outside of it, and there are many connections to nearby sporting and cultural organisations.
