From the Dashwood Banbury Academy
I'd want to extend a sincere greeting to everyone in the Dashwood neighbourhood. I have been employed here since 2008, and I am quite proud to announce that I am the principal. I also feel incredibly honoured to be in charge of such a wonderful school with incredibly committed staff, students, and families. Dashwood is a thriving institution with distinct aspirations, beliefs, and a vision for assisting students in becoming lifelong learners. Our mission statement, "Growing together; succeeding together," ties into the Aspiration Academy concept of "dream big and be motivated in the future to realise these dreams." Both teachers and students are inspired and encouraged to enjoy learning new things and to gain the confidence they need to succeed. Because we have high standards for everyone, we always appear intelligent, open to learning, and optimistic in our behaviour. As a school, we provide spaces for children ages 2 to 11, ensuring that each child receives individualised instruction at the proper level to advance their learning. To ensure seamless transfers, we have great relationships with other nursery settings and secondary institutions. Parents report that their children are secure, content, and making outstanding progress, and students express a pleasure of going to school. I sincerely hope you appreciate learning more about the school on our website and Facebook page. I would also enjoy the chance to meet new people in the neighbourhood by giving them a tour of the facility.
