The community is now fortunate to have a large number of Muslim schools in Birmingham, but the Darul Uloom stands out for providing a truly Islamic education that includes both the National Curriculum and the Traditional Islamic Curriculum, both of which are delivered through a programme of teaching and support that strengthens the students' faith and character.
Ta'dib, the teaching of good character is therefore the centre of our holistic Islamic Education programme.
Many of our staff members have advanced degrees and could easily find higher-paying positions in business or mainstream education, but they chose to work in this institution so they could educate and shape the boys into men who, inshallah, will give our community the leadership and inspiration it needs. This institution allows them to do this.
I commend the Darul Uloom to you as the best place you can send your sons to provide them with the education they deserve whilst preserving their integrity and human dignity.
We will look after your children as if they were our own and guide them to become young men you can be proud of that will bring honour and respect to your families.
May Allah (SWT) give us all the tawfiq to continuously strive for excellence and make the Darul Uloom a trusted source of guidance and a centre of educational excellence.
