From the Charlton Park Academy
Students with sophisticated, infrequent special education requirements attend Charlton Park Academy, a Special Academy. We serve young people with complicated diseases as a reputable and highly skilled local source of quality specialised education. We had our start in the early 1900s as a part of the Open Air School movement, which aimed to support children with special needs as they grew up in London. Over the years, we have played a significant role in the successful development of numerous children, families, and staff. We constantly strive to provide our young people with care and education at greater standards. In this time of austerity, we want to do a better job of supporting families. We also want to collaborate with the rest of our community to accomplish better results. We have a welcoming and knowledgeable staff that has expertise working with a variety of young individuals with special educational needs. The majority of our team members have specialised training and experience. To raise our standards of service, we regularly mentor and train every member of our personnel. We are still improving our first-rate facilities, and with the help of families and partnerships, we have helped our young people in some amazing ways. Many of them come back to share their updates and achievements. We wish to help all of our young people, parents, and carers today and in the future grow and alter their lives so they can become content and fulfilled adults and citizens who are able to pursue their interests and aspirations. Finally, we hope that you enjoy seeing some of the work we have done on our website, and we welcome every effort to support us on our quest to become a true centre of excellence in all aspects.
