A person is welcomed into the Bluecoat family when they enrol at Bluecoat Beechdale Academy.
As the inaugural Bluecoat Beechdale Academy, we are honoured to have received their sponsorship in April 2014.
We are overjoyed that during our most recent inspection, Ofsted noted the numerous fantastic possibilities we offer to our students.
Particularly, Ofsted noted the enormous advancements made at the institution since the previous inspection of our predecessor school in 2013.
For the whole report on our Ofsted inspection, please click the link above.
The Ofsted inspection team also noted that "Leaders and Governors are passionate about ensuring that all students receive the best possible standard of education," and in keeping with that, we as an academy are committed to continuing to strive for even more improvement as we confidently move into the future.
By setting the highest standards, we hope to raise the bar.
The right to feel safe, the right to feel happy, and the right to learn are the three fundamental rights that students have at school, in my opinion.
We hold students at Bluecoat Beechdale Academy to exceptionally high standards in terms of behaviour, attendance, and attitude toward learning; we make no apologies for this.
At Bluecoat Beechdale Academy, we take great pride in the assistance we provide and work hard to ensure equity for all of our pupils, regardless of their circumstances.
