Ofsted February 2018 - "The School's strong ethos based on valuing the views of all, pupils and adults alike, permeates the life of the School". We hope you enjoy visiting the website for Batheaston Church School and extend a warm welcome. We take great pride in our joyful and loving culture, which is based on Christian principles and loves each child as a unique person and values them. To ensure that every child makes outstanding academic progress and develops important life skills, we collaborate with parents and carers. All students have access to a cutting-edge, imaginative curriculum that offers numerous chances and practical experiences. With the help of our students' parents, teachers, and community volunteers, we transformed the nearby field into Mike's Meadow, an engaging outdoor learning space. In Mike's Meadow, students participate in a variety of engaging lessons, including arithmetic, English, and cross-curricular activities. Additionally, every child participates in Forest School sessions during the academic year. In March 2018, Batheaston was designated as an academy, and we are now a member of the Bath and Wells Multi Academy Trust. We are thrilled about the chance to collaborate with so many other area schools and have access to excellent professional development, support, and challenges. We also have our own thriving Breakfast and After School Club (Play Rangers), so on-site care can be provided for children from 8.00am to 6.00pm. Contact the school office at 01225 858555 or [email protected] if you would like to visit. "Pupils are very motivated and desire to learn," said Ofsted in February 2018.
