Welcome to Woodside Primary Academy, where each child's development and well-being are given top importance.
To make sure that your child feels taken care of and supported throughout their academic journey, we have worked arduously to create a culture of trust, happiness, and success here at the school.
We received an Outstanding rating from Ofsted in all areas of education because to the great performance in the aforementioned areas (July 2016).
We have worked arduously to create more engaging options for all students since our Ofsted Inspection.
We currently have Friday afternoon classes where each student participates in a term of enrichment activities.
These include activities like rock climbing, fencing, photography, cooking, gardening, operating a drone, and our Community Support programmes, where students spend time with vulnerable elderly people in nursing homes during intergenerational afternoons.
In January 2018, we also unveiled our cutting-edge Enrichment Centre.
Our 60-student science lab is a crucial component of our excellent science curriculum.
In light of this, we have developed the "Seven Life Values," which we consider crucial for our children's development, both while they are living with us and after they leave Woodside.
Respect, Responsibility, Independence, Kindness, Confidence, Honesty, and Determination are among our core values.
The author Stephen Covey's "7 Habits of Highly Effective People," which Woodside has also adopted.
These Seven Habits encourage personal leadership, and our students' excellent report writing and parent-teacher conferences are a result of their acceptance.
Promote equality of access and opportunity inside our school and across our larger community. Our committed teaching and support staff collaborate to create a dynamic learning environment for our students, inspiring them to become active participants in their own unique learning journeys.
