Welcome to the website for our school, which provides a glimpse into who we are and what we do. We are a well-liked village school located in gorgeous countryside and surrounded by the most amazing neighbourhood. Over the past 20 years, our school has increased dramatically from 38 to 198 students. Seven of our classes are one year long. The teaching team is made up of four full-time employees, seven job-share partners, and two more part-time employees that assist our PPA (Planning, preparation and assessment time). Those staff members include a Key Stage 1 LA moderator, a Key Stage 2 moderator, and four former Leading Wiltshire Teachers for both literacy and numeracy. We have strong Christian values and very tight ties to the church. We gather for worship in the church once a week and partake in the termly Eucharist in addition to commemorating special occasions like Easter and Christmas. The Parents and Teachers Association, or PTA, is extremely active and supportive of the school. From used uniform sales to overnight stays in the village field, they organise and manage a variety of events both during and after the school day. Our kids are content, self-assured, and compassionate. They put in a lot of effort, enjoy meeting new difficulties, and are completely inclusive. Our students are courageous risk-takers who inspire the entire school community. We would love to meet you and show you around our incredibly excellent school, so if you would like to come by, please call and set up an appointment.
