Ten miles west of Oxford, in the prosperous town of Witney, sits Wood Green, a true comprehensive school.
Because we are a school with strong ideals, everything we do—including our curriculum, the variety of enrichment programmes, and a focus on student accomplishment and welfare—contributes to ensuring that excellence is truly available to all.
Our 2018 GCSE results showed year over year growth and were the best ever for achievement and development.
The Acer Multi-Academy Trust was co-founded by Wood Green and three additional Oxfordshire schools in February 2017.
To give our students the most options in Oxfordshire, our Sixth Form closely collaborates with Henry Box School, Abingdon and Witney College, and other educational institutions.
Our Wood Green Baccalaureate, which organises our curriculum and additional enrichment, makes sure that every student from grades 7 through 13 is recognised for their accomplishments and hard work.

The teachers seem committed and we're helpful. Sometimes the atmosphere seemed a bit heavy...I noticed pupils being told to be quiet when they were already! But the discipline is okay and the teaching was good. Good music.
