In every way, Wolverdene Special School is unique. Our teaching staff works to create a supportive environment where all of our students can successfully participate in all facets of learning. We take satisfaction in helping students advance intellectually, emotionally, and socially. The skilled group of experts who work with the kids at the school is something of which the institution is extremely proud. At Wolverdene School, we make sure that each child's unique needs are recognised and accommodated while offering learning experiences that are inspiring, relevant, and accessible to all students. The institution is situated in Hampshire's Andover. There are only two SEMH primary schools in the county, and this one is the only one that provides residential care. The school is attended by students from all around the county, the majority of whom use Hampshire school transportation. The school is now full with 55 students enrolled in 7 classes, and there is a significant waiting list. The school has the advantage of a residential unit (The Lodge) for up to 10 pupils, which offers residential support during the week. In addition, a number of kids take advantage of a "extended day" by participating in the events at The Lodge after school. For English and math, students are divided into sets based on their aptitude, whereas other disciplines are taught in class groups using a topic curriculum. The entire school covers each topic as the school teaches the entire National Curriculum in half-termly topics. Weekly enrichment activities, overnight excursions, horseback, and swimming are all part of the curriculum additions.
