From the Winslow Church of England School
Lifelong learning is a journey. At Winslow Church of England School, we support the development of the students' independence, drive, and sense of ownership over their education. The school actively promotes a "growth mindset" that welcomes challenge, encourages kids to take chances, create their own discoveries, and broaden their understanding. All of the kids can participate in unforgettable learning activities thanks to our extensive and diverse curriculum. Our magnificent and varied outdoor space is used to enhance all subject areas of the curriculum and broaden our students' learning. This features playgrounds for grades 1 and 2 apart, sizable sports fields, and a heated outdoor pool for summer swimming. Cross-curricular learning is frequently stimulated by our Musical Woodland and forest area, and the sensory garden is a beautiful place for meditation. All of our efforts are focused on ensuring the mental health and wellbeing of our kids, and a special team has been assembled to take care of them. All of our employees, governors, and volunteers share our dedication to ensuring the safety of our students and receive ongoing training in child protection practises. We value the close bonds we share with each of our families and consider our institution to be at the centre of the neighbourhood. The school and St. Laurence, our neighbourhood parish church, have a close bond and actively participate in each other's lives.
