We would like to extend a warm welcome to you at Windy Nook Primary School and on our website on behalf of the faculty, students, and governors. There are over 330 students in our school, ranging in age from 3 to 11 years old. On the location of the former infant school, the current school was inaugurated as a primary school in 1993. When OFSTED last examined us in March 2018, they gave us an excellent rating. "You and your team are committed to delivering the kids the very best education, and you are increasingly effective in doing so," the inspector stated in his observation. For additional information, please visit the Ofsted area of our website. At Windy Nook Primary, we think that every child has the potential to succeed and should be encouraged to grow autonomous, gain self-confidence, make choices, and take ownership of their own behaviour. As a rights-respecting school, everything we do is based on our high standards for our students' behaviour and consideration of others. We strive to create strong connections between the home and the school, acknowledging the crucial part parents and other carers play in their child's education. Our school's success depends on the connections we make with everyone, and we have an active Governing Body and PTFA that support the school's efforts. Through frequent publications, the website, and our Facebook page, we hope to inform the entire school community. We provide parents and carers the chance to talk about their child's growth each term, and we are always happy to meet with you at other times. We are eager to collaborate with you to make sure that your child receives the top-notch education they deserve.
