Every member of the Willow Lane school community, including the students, teachers, and families, is appreciated. We put a lot of effort into becoming an inclusive school that celebrates difference and fosters learning. As a community school, we are proud of the links we have beyond the school gates and create learning opportunities which see visitors coming in as well as children going out. Through 'teaching to the heart' we encourage children to work hard, to develop their enjoyment of learning, to enhance their fascination of the world around them and provide artistic, cultural and sporting opportunities to support their learning. Positive behaviours are another aspect of learning in primary school. Our values-based approach to education equips kids with the vocabulary they need to consider their decisions, express their emotions, and understand how their actions affect others around them. Visitors are consistently amazed by the children's behaviour, and we should be!
