From the Willow Bank Primary School
Our family of schools, including Willow Bank Primary School, has a responsibility to give our kids the resources they need to access their education and develop socially, emotionally, and academically.
I'd like to present myself as the Executive Head Teacher for Lime Wood Free School, which is being developed alongside Willow Bank Primary School.
In light of this, it is my desire that during the school year, your kids will chat to you when they get home from school about what they learned and the amazing opportunities they had.
Our curriculum will be centred on character education and metacognition/growth mindset to ensure that we are producing future citizens who will treat others with respect.
There are numerous programmes in place to support this growth, and throughout the year, you will hear terminology like "champions," "thinking hats," "skills," and "maps" used to describe the tools we are implementing to get your kid ready for the future on a social, emotional, and academic level.
