We are a small, family-oriented school that offers a comprehensive, engaging, demanding curriculum that is tailored to each student's individual needs. We have high standards for each child's social and academic growth, and Ofsted concurred that our kids are polite, considerate, and have excellent attitudes toward learning.
At Willow Bank Infant School, we are committed to helping each child reach their full potential both personally and academically in a secure, happy, and stimulating environment. This will help each child develop a genuine love of learning, feel appreciated as a unique person, gain confidence, and look forward to going to school.
Our committed staff, governors, and the children's enthusiastic parents all work hard to assist the children's learning.
Gem Power, a reward system that promotes teamwork, independence, responsibility, and resilience in kids, as well as being willing to try new things and encouraging others to succeed, supports the social development of kids.
After school, there are numerous extracurricular activities offered by staff and outside organisations, as well as wraparound care including a breakfast club and an after school club. We like to have themed days, and there is also a very active Schools Association that offers entertaining events like discos and family movie nights.
We are pleased to have kept both the National Healthy Schools Standard and the ICT Mark.
