I'd like to take this chance to extend a warm welcome to you on behalf of the Local Governing Body and provide you some information about what our Governing Body does.
As governors, we are pleased with our school's warm and supportive culture.
We want to give every child at Widey Court the best possible chances for learning and growth by collaborating with the head teacher, the senior leadership team, and you.
We value the opinions of parents as well, therefore we are interested in learning about the school's strengths, potential growth areas, and any suggestions for enhancements from parents and carers.
At least one governor will frequently be present at school events, and they will be ecstatic to hear what parents and carers have to say.
The Governing Body's responsibility includes developing and reviewing the rules that apply to every area of the school's operations.
Following review by the Full Governing Body, these are created by the Head Teacher and accepted.
Future-focused efforts at our school must continue, and I have no doubt that they will succeed with the help of the staff, parents, guardians, and governors.
