I'd like to extend a hearty welcome to you on behalf of the entire staff at our school. Whitwell Primary School is a typical-sized elementary school located in the Derbyshire village of Whitwell. From Reception to Year 6, we have about 265 students enrolled, in addition to a 52-seat nursery. We are a fully inclusive school where every child succeeds in a joyful, secure setting. a school where students enjoy studying while yet being challenged to do their best in class. We want everyone at Whitwell Primary School to be the best they can be in all areas and aspects of life both in and out of school and this underpins everything we do to ensure children get the very best out of their time with us. We view education as a partnership between the family and the school and encourage parental involvement in all facets of school life. The children are to be the BEST - Believe, Endeavor, Succeed Together is our motto. Our curriculum is designed to keep kids interested and motivated while also giving them the knowledge, skills, and morals they need to succeed and contribute positively to society. We provide a variety of after-school and extracurricular clubs as well as enrichment activities, including a breakfast club.
