I'm honoured to welcome you to the Westhead Lathom St. James' CE Primary School website. I am confident you will find all you need here, and I cordially encourage you to schedule a meeting with us so you may come and visit our amazing school in person. The Westhead Lathom St. James' CE Primary School is the beating heart of the neighbourhood. We are a smaller-than-average semi-rural school with close ties to both the local community and St. James' Church in Westhead. As a church school, our commitment to Christian principles guides everything we do. Reverend Sephton frequently stops by the school to participate in our weekly worship services. Children are the heart of every successful school, and at St. James' we strive to provide all of our students the greatest possible start in life. In order to develop children's thirst for knowledge, their first educational experience should be positive and life-enriching, full of lessons that are vibrant and engaging and draw children into the learning process. I am confident that the staff at this institution is committed to achieving this goal. Despite being modest, our facilities are excellent! In addition to having a large outside space with a multi-use sports area, school garden, story telling area, and forest school, our Victorian building is extraordinarily well maintained. All of our students have the chance to participate in a variety of interschool sporting events, and each child's special abilities are recognised. The teachers and administrators at St. James' are quite pleased of all of our students' numerous accomplishments and hope that you will soon pay us a visit so that the kids may show you around.
