The only infant school in Brackley is Waynflete Infants' School. The school received an Outstanding rating from Ofsted in January 2011 and transitioned to academy status on April 1st, 2012. As a result, the kids can take advantage of a tailored, well-rounded curriculum that gives them the chance to learn in an engaging setting. The school, which opened in 1960, was constructed specifically for young children. We offer seven classrooms, a sizable, well-equipped hall, an ICT suite, a library, and a playground with a variety of outdoor play equipment that is kept in good condition. Each of our two Reception groups may accommodate up to 30 youngsters starting in September following their fourth birthday. They remain with us until the Autumn Term of their seventh year, when they transfer, typically to Brackley CE Junior School. The school's professional, committed, and energetic staff, led by Headteacher Mrs. Tina Lagdon, is passionate about ensuring that every student is treated fairly and given the chance to realise their full potential.
